Converting S-Series engines to RWD can be done.

List of things that you might want to consider

  • Engine Mounts and Crossmembers
  • Rear Wheel Drive Gearbox and Bellhousing Configuration
  • Flywheel, Clutch and Starter
  • Sump (oil pickup) and Windage Tray Configuration
  • Fuel Pump and Fuel Lines
  • Wiring Harness and Pinouts for Aftermarket ECUs

More to come...

In my conversion, also custom inlet manifold, custom exhaust manifold. Some blocks have different mounting points on the block. (Series 2 MR2 was good for me in the KE25 corolla).

Issues around distributor cap pointing out the back of the head, ito firewall. I used an aftermarket computer, so didn't need the distributor, only the pickup inside it.
