Mr Sheen Posted October 15, 2006 Report Posted October 15, 2006 Good to see my former pride and joy on the road and getting used. The exhaust was supposed to be 3inch, never did get under and measure but sounds like i may have been ripped off. oh well , too late now. Quote
sleepercorty Posted October 15, 2006 Author Report Posted October 15, 2006 yeh its been put to real good use, i havent measured exhaust either but definatelly no bigger than 2.5 not that I'm worried this is just my weekday car, am putting cortina back together now and should go an easy 11 sec. here is a little video   Quote

Mr Sheen Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 Nice work. Does it easy. Makes me wish i still had it. :D Quote
sleepercorty Posted February 4, 2007 Author Report Posted February 4, 2007 just an update havent played with it much lately, but have been back to run 13.8 at 101mph, I'm saving for a dump pipe as std one wont let me run anymore than 10psi over about 5000rpm to restrictive so once that is on will venture back with tires wider than 185 and hopefully 14psi to run closer to 13.0, thats about where it will end as i want to keep std computer and std turbo as this is my daily driver and reliability is needed. sleepercorty Posted August 19, 2007 Author Report Posted August 19, 2007 have decided to do a turbo upgrade as i bought a cheap sr20 turbo and 3 inch dump pipe, and it will still be fine with standard computer. it will be getting dynoed tomorrow with standard turbo and then again towards the end of the week when i have the sr turbo on. i will post pics of dyno sheets to see what kind of power increase i get, I'm hoping for around 190rwhp with the sr turbo. Jordan Posted August 19, 2007 Report Posted August 19, 2007 (edited) stock CA injectros are for for 160RWkW max, the T28 should be loving it at say 12psi :P (mine made 150RWkW's on 10PSI using a GTiR turbo, same as all SR20 turbo's but with the slightly larger 0.86 exhaust housing.) Â enjoy, all you need now is some FC injectors and an RB airflow metre, to bring that power up to 190kW at the rear. Â Cheers Jordan Edited August 19, 2007 by Jordan Quote
decoop Posted August 19, 2007 Report Posted August 19, 2007 Could you post up the pics with the whitewalls again mate the links on the previouse page wont work for me. Quote
sleepercorty Posted August 20, 2007 Author Report Posted August 20, 2007 sorry don't have any pictures of the white walls still. Â put car on dyno today and with standard turbo running 11psi it made 178.6rwhp, which is alot considering it has standard dump pipe, computer, 2.5 exhaust and small intercooler. not sure if I'm going to get a chance this week to do turbo or not but will see how i go. sleepercorty Posted August 22, 2007 Author Report Posted August 22, 2007 (edited) put new turbo on last night, and on rollers again this morning was a fair gain from 178 to 203rwhp. it is also has a bit more lag which was expected and comes on a bit softer which helps alot with the wheelspin problem. sleepercorty Posted October 14, 2007 Author Report Posted October 14, 2007 Ran the car at willowbank last night and ran 12.9 at 106.7mph on crap 185/14 tires and 12psi so bigger and better times to come once i buy bigger tires and screw boost to about 16psi. Quote
ca18rolla Posted October 15, 2007 Report Posted October 15, 2007 good work how much power was she making and what was your 60ft Quote

sleepercorty Posted October 16, 2007 Author Report Posted October 16, 2007 car is making 203rwhp and 60 foot was 1.980 which is about the best 60 foot i will get on those tires. will leave it how it is for now and in a couple of months fit my resistor to air flow meter to stop boost cut and try and run about 16psi. hopefully then will make around 230rwhp and run around 12.3 with decent tires.
