What you had a 2530??? Cause was just out playing in the shed and I thought for s&g's I'd put the magnet on the rear wheel and she not magnetic!!! So then I check where the tag normally is and nothing(in saying that it's a flimsy bit of steel held by one tiny tag). It seems to measure right on the inducer and exducer diam(did they make a bush bearing ceramic wheel/shaft one)Do I feck it off and buy a new Garrett?? Or am I just panicking?

Oh e85 um well um maybe. Could sort of be the reason for the external gate. But still not sure on fuel, I do have another choice but I'm keeping that one quiet.

Yeh i had a 2530 on my 5k motor 10yrs ago, cost me $2500 secondhand back then, was worth it as all garrets offerings

That's a broken engine mount for ya!!'

Locked dizzy(28deg of timing) blower cam and rich idle tune. I had to tune it rich at idle because it had so much timing it would run really hot at perfect lambda reading.

I told you they had s$&ty commentary

when you say locked SC, you mean no clutch ? I also locked mine.

Yours spins up pretty fast.

Yeah no clutch. I made the pulley on the CnC to use a STD type bearing with vbelt. I then ground out the rivets on the hub bolt and used them to bolt it to the pulley.

Wow! Your re-living my 5k 'pipe-dreams' with the turbo setup haha, if its your daily stay pump fuel though, but if its not, HELLO E85 !

Oh and your 5K-ZE setup is finally getting installed in a couple of weeks, I'll let you know what kind of power it makes etc etc.

Yeah e85 is really only an injector change and retune. But for the most part I'd really like to see the max limit of pump fuel first. I'll mostly run 98 for road duties and change to e85 for racing.

Glad to hear the old setup will be given a workout soon!!

If you need to know anything about it while you putting on, I'm sure my phone number is in our PM conversation. Just give me a call and ill happily talk you through any issues.

Actuators are cheap, about $80 or something for a 18psi one, easier than piss farting around for no gain.

this thing will fly..I'd half think about putting a .48 T25G exhaust housing on it, thats what i wanted to do to mine

just never got around to it

Tried this on the weekend, the bb cores are bigger and the .49 doesn't fit!

Dang. I think the .64 should be ok seeing as it's a bb not a bushy. It still should be reasonably punchy.

You could machine it to fit.

I did think that, but you'll go nearly half way through the T25G bolt holes by the time you machined it out enough.

The .49 will fit on a S14 T28, but not the S15.
