Sound Deadening

ok i have the rock solid sound deaderning crap in my ke70.how do you get it off.

i searched and couldnt find anything that helpes me or i missed it.any help is appretiated.

Hammer and chisel. Some people have had success with dry ice as well.

 

Why are you doing it? It only saves about 6-8 kgs.....

Was going to sugest dry ice aswell.

 

There is a chemical spray that will cause it to peel up so you can pull bits of it off easier but a crap job none the less can't remember what its called though. Helped my cousin and we had a heat gun, a flat screwdriver and a spatuler.

Heat Gun, Chisel and wire brush.

 

Its messy - it sucks - its not very satisfying in the end
