EX-MR2FREAK Posted August 26, 2006 Report Posted August 26, 2006 Hey all, just registered on rollaclub cause i have a problem. I recently smashed my MR2 and now i have a spare 4agze just lying around begging for a conversion. Not wanting to spend a fortune, I'm looking for an old corolla to convert. I'm wondering which model would be easiest or possible to put a 4AGZE in to. I'm looking at an old rear wheel drive corolla. Obviously the gear box will need to be changed. How hard is it to find a T50? And what other alternate parts would need to be sourced for such a conversion? Any advice would be helpful. Thanks.
PMP020 Posted August 26, 2006 Report Posted August 26, 2006 mate before you go spamming the forums, mite wana ask the mods to delete the other to threads and people mite be mor einclined to help ya out. easi answer to the quiestion is, ye sit can be done into an ealry RWD rolla, been doen a few times. depends on money, knowledge(its not what you know its who you know). a few mods will need to be done the to engine to convert 2 rear wheel drive. dizzy posistion etc etc. cheers scott
mitch13 Posted August 26, 2006 Report Posted August 26, 2006 AE71 corolla. Its nearly the same as an Aus spec sprinter so it has the T50 in it (if its manual). Get a spirit if you can, they are fairly rare but worth looking for.
irokin Posted August 26, 2006 Report Posted August 26, 2006 AE71 then consult the FAQ http://www.rollaclub.com/faq/index.php?tit...n_Page#A_Series Done and done!
