Des Posted August 26, 2006 Report Posted August 26, 2006 (edited) block in the line?fuel pump shat itself?does it have fuel in the tank?maybe its them maybe its not. :y: is it the standard pump or electric or what? Edited August 26, 2006 by too quick
Redwarf Posted August 26, 2006 Report Posted August 26, 2006 Yep. Fuel delivery problem. Start with the filter and work from there.
mitch13 Posted August 26, 2006 Author Report Posted August 26, 2006 All fresh lines. There is a little bit of fuel in the filter but not much. We didnt really try for very long. Should it pump through as the motor cranks? There was no fuel in the lines to start but there is fuel in the tank.
NickZ Posted August 26, 2006 Report Posted August 26, 2006 if its the mechanical pump, it will take a few cranks to start getting the fuel up,, just try putting a little fuel down the carb and starting it, the engine will run for a few seconds and that should almost be enough to get the fuel up to the carb
mitch13 Posted August 26, 2006 Author Report Posted August 26, 2006 Thanks NickZ. I will let you all know how it goes in the morning.
