been bust with the ke20 lately but still have done some work on the ke35, I have changed timing belt, water pump, some seals and cleaned up the motor by painting the block, rocker covers, pulleys, polishing the water pump pulley, fuel rail and CAS.

Here are some pics!

Yesterday i fitted my ae82 flywheel and new clutch and the gearbox. Bolted the gearbox in the car and sat the engine on some ae71 mounts, they fit without the rubber mounts, here is how close they come:

my dads mate who was going to make the mount is very busy so I'm just going to make them myself. Hopefully they will be done in a couple of weeks.

Hey hey,

What sort of paint did you use for the valve covers and CAS. What prep work did you do.

Instead of painting mine i was going to polish them up at a mates place on a linishing pad.

But painting them seems to be a better option.

Ps: Top work mate, Your inspiration for all the lazy arse's out there, ie me

Thanks mate.

All i did was degrease them hit them with a wire brush bit on the drill (worked really well to get the all the crap off), primered them, and used enamel car paint.

Also got my hilux 4pots and corona struts today so i will be rebuilding the calipers and making some coilovers!

Any chance you could do a write up on the corona sturt with hilux 4 pot conversion? ie. whats needed, what needs to be modded etc? Also what are you running out the back? I'm kind of at a loss as to what i should do with mine :D
