I am not sure in what state, but here in NSW we have "office of transport safety reliability regulator" I know they are govt, but I know these guys pretty well, and I ALWAYS report idiots. Takes 2 seconds to get their plate, write it into your mobile and call them when u get home.

Trust me, they do investigate. And especially if its a main part of town, they should have cameras too (at least here they do) so they have proof.

For instance in NSW we have recieved notices from the EPA about our technicians in company cars throwing cigarette butts out hte window. They are first warnings explaining the fines. The complains came from "general public" to quote the EPA. You have rights and you can do something about it.

I would call the local DOT or RTA and ask if something like the regulator is setup in your state.

when your presented with a threatening situation there is only one solution, which is to dethreaten the situation. next investment should go towards a 9mm or desert eagle, best problem solver youll ever come across.

seriously the guy wont do anything about it. i had a party a while back and a group of retards rolled up in there dada and fubu trying to come in, so one of my mates started on them, and they kept saying yeh your all f@$ked etc etc. we were just like what ever, but my mate kept wanting to fight, these guys were like 16-17 thinking they were tuff (it was my 20th) and they kept saying we were f@$ked and this was months ago, haven heard from them since. they can try all they want tho. goodluck to them

The probably had to go home and drink there peterol :(

I'm not a big fan of dobbing people in and all that. Like there are people who get all up in arms about the stupidity of chirping a wheel around a corner or roundabout, but thats harmless.

Ive only reported someone once and its because the guy was either wasted out of his brain, high or so tyred that in about every 100 meters he would drift across from left to right. Mount the median in the middle and then across into the dirt of a tri lane highway.

Jotted down the rego and rang the cops and said he is headed toward town and if you don't stop him he WILL hit a pedestrian.

i get "flashed" (high beam wise) by at least 1 person a day as I'm on the road for near 1000kms a week for work. I also live in Hobart, and my car is parked out on the street every night. I don't loose sleep over it........

Just don't make anything personal. I see people flash, hear them honk. But I never swing round to look. Just keep an eye on the mirrors etc. The moment you swing them the bird, gesture, or mouth "get f@$ked" etc then it becomes personal, which means they're more likely to remember it. Just plead ignorant, even if you do cut them off and almost makes them tailgate you!

hahah thats actually pretty gold man. never thought of that. i still like the desert eagle idea. i have a bit of a thing for guns. if you live in adelaide go to marksman in the city you pay $65 and you get to fire 3 clips from a 9mm, 1 clip from a 45, and 12 from a revolver and 6 from the 44 magnum. first time i went i was surprisingly accurate, teddy (the guy who owns it) thought i had shot befor. so awesome tho, 44 magnum could tare limbs off.

Thats the thing. All i did was toot my horn cause the fool was gonna cause an accident. I didn't mouth/gesture anything. He just must be one of those guys who "Is never wrong" and since he is older he must be right. Like he makes the rules or something.

lol! How many people live in Brissy? You really think he's going to hunt you down for "tooting" your horn??!?

Not worth worrying about.

P.S. if he does go the desert eagle option!

next time you see him jump out of your car and take all your clothes off(exept your undys) and do the party boy, also helps if you have the ring tone on your phone

personally i can't believe the question was asked in the first place....

I was being serious. I did nothing wrong. I don't believe that people should be getting away with treating people like that. I do not ever want to resort to violence, and believe he should somehow pay for intimidateing (?) people like that.

Whilst it's probably too late to do anything now, if ever this sort of thing happens to you again (from this guy or otherwise), get their details and report them. Don't resort to violence or payback, otherwise you're putting yourself in the wrong too.

And whoever suggested that the guy was probably venting out of his own embarassment is most likely spot on. He probably realised that an accident would have been all his fault, but since you hit your horn, he wanted to pin something on you.
