Hey guys i own a auto ke70 and was thinking is it worth it to change to a manual or just sell it and buy a manual ke-70?

Its got some rust e.g behind the fuel cap, in the boot seal area..

Do you reckon i should pursue in fixing this up or look for a cleaner ke70.

Any help would be good and some pointers on what i should pay attention on the car first would be appreciated because i'm kinda new to all of this.I'll post pics soon

If it were a clean KE70, I would be tempted to say the auto-manual conversion would be totally worth it. However, by the sounds of things its not the best, which is a shame. Depending on how much you bought your KE70 for, and your mechanical knowledge, I'd say that it would be a better option to get a manual KE70 as a base for a project. Better still, you could concentrate on fixing this one up a little bit as practice for your next KE70...

Anyway mate, good luck with the project, and since I've never said it before, welcome to Rollaclub.

I have watched Teddy spend over 5 hours ripping out my entire dash and replacing it... to replace just the pedal box for the manual conversion...

Buy a manual

heh heh....he was faster with mine :y: ....still took alot to get it out. A manual conversion is not something to try if you've not worked on cars very much. Could end up taking you alot longer than it should.
