Raven Posted August 16, 2006 Report Posted August 16, 2006 Stud pattern i'd say would be as easy as getting your axles redrilled to the correct pattern (4 x 110). I was thinking of using a TA22 celica T -series diff and pretty much shortening that down if need be. :y: Quote
jamesrolla Posted August 16, 2006 Report Posted August 16, 2006 i have a ke20 borg diif in mine and i just cut and re welded the spring mounts into the right spot, i kept blowing ke10 diffs even with my 4k but you might need something a bit stronger, you could try a mazda diff or a mazda e series comercial diff because they are the same stud pattern on some of them, my mate with his ke11 20valve has a ta22 diff in his with an LSD centre and he said that it hasnt been shortend at all, its just had the brackets moved and he runs superlite wheels and he has about 2" bolt on flares but the wheels are in the flares enough cheers james Quote
PMP020 Posted August 16, 2006 Report Posted August 16, 2006 if your going to go with a desent 1 time diff conversion and have the money to get a diff shortened i woudl recommend a commo, skyline borgy or hilux diff. both have lots of centre ratios to choose from, and axle spline choices, can go drum or disk. will reali keep your options open by going downt his road. and very easy to come buy also. cheers scott Quote
irokin Posted August 16, 2006 Report Posted August 16, 2006 I agree with scott. Do it right the first time and you wont be regretting it 6 months down the road. I think Biggo is blowing T series diffs behind his 20 valve. Quote
ke17 20v Posted August 17, 2006 Author Report Posted August 17, 2006 yeah thanks for the info guys... i was thinkig about a hilux diff cos i wana keep it all toyota but i herd they are a bit on the heavy side, i agree do it right the first time but now i gotta save up the cash :y: Quote
