um ae90 had 6afc ae92 only had 4afc as far as i know ive been working in a weckers for 8 years now and never seen a 1.4 ae92

 

sorry to burst ur bubble but the se had a 6afc not a 4afc (unless of course the 6a was replaced at some stage)

 

oh and yes i'll agree with to quick on the other mods. but i will add to do ur suspension and make it handle. :2thumbs:

Remember that Kings and other supermarket springs only Lower your car, there is little or no increse in spring rate. So don't expect wonders from those kind of springs. A stiff rear sway bar will improve mind to late corner stability.

 

The 6AFC sounds like it has a lot in common with a Boat anchore, and while not having any experience with them first hand I'd advise not to spend too many dollars on one and move to a 100kw 4AGE or one of the other options 20v or GZE as they will respond to mods much better.

4afc's seem to be an ok engine to use if your short on funds. My stock 4afc can beat a stock 1995 ford laser efi. 4afc will bolt into any place were a 6af was before.
