Raven Posted August 9, 2006 Report Posted August 9, 2006 I went looking for that Universal Flares topic and found it and it gave a link to the Meridian Motorsport Website regarding the two different types of flare kits available for the KE2x models. But for the life of me, I cannot find the freakin flares on the website and its annoying me. Does anyone else know where I can source a set of replica flares for my KE25? Quote
Dan Posted August 9, 2006 Report Posted August 9, 2006 Meridian Motorsport discontinued their flare kits for KE20's i think.. I read it in the 'rob1 for sale thread' (new name by me, because I can't remember the old one). ;) Quote
Raven Posted August 9, 2006 Author Report Posted August 9, 2006 Then i reckon they need a good face-slapping with a Tuna for doing that ;) Quote
Corolla_Kid Posted August 9, 2006 Report Posted August 9, 2006 ^^I agree preferably a rotten stinky one. Quote
muller Posted August 9, 2006 Report Posted August 9, 2006 Dam it, I'm trying to track down a set for myself. How hard have you been looking, should i try too or would i just be going over your ground? Quote
Raven Posted August 9, 2006 Author Report Posted August 9, 2006 Only way I can see it being done is I get a mate to make some or i can see if there is a universal flare kit at a place here in Adelaide. I'll let ya's know what I find out anyway. Quote
muller Posted August 10, 2006 Report Posted August 10, 2006 Yeah that would be great. I'm don't know if your desprite for them but I'm not in any hurry for them, got other things to do first. Quote
ke20-in-the-act Posted August 10, 2006 Report Posted August 10, 2006 hi there guys, i to would be interestedin ke20 flares, no rush here either Quote
Raven Posted August 10, 2006 Author Report Posted August 10, 2006 Ok. I checked out the flares today. They're obviously not TE27 replica's but they can be bolt-on or moulded to the body, depends what style you want. $295 for a set of four. They're about 40mm wide and can be trimmed to fit as well and would look pretty sweet. They also have a lip on the inside of the flare so it doesnt hack up your tyre. I also priced myself a set of 13x7 and 13x8 superlites with the charcoal centre. $1360 cash with tyres here at Tyrepower in Adelaide. So I'm really really contemplating getting the flares and the rims and lowering the car. :) Quote
muller Posted August 11, 2006 Report Posted August 11, 2006 Superlights with flares on 25's look tops dude. Thought the wheels and tyres would be at least double that though. Nice job :) Id ad a pic that i have of one but i can't. How come some threads you can add pictures from your computer but others you can't?? Quote
Raven Posted August 12, 2006 Author Report Posted August 12, 2006 No idea. I've had that myself. Feel free to add me to MSN and I'll post it up in here or email it to me. Quote

MRMOPARMAN Posted August 23, 2006 Report Posted August 23, 2006 hey raven, does your mate have any plans to sell/replicate those flares? if the flares are that hard to get I'm sure more than a few people here would jump at the chance to buy them if they were replicated.. me for 1! i have a mate that makes mini flares... umm flares for morris minors that are top notch if your workmate can't find anyone to make moulds etc Quote
Raven Posted August 23, 2006 Author Report Posted August 23, 2006 He is looking into getting som moulds made, so if it goes ahead, I'll definately let you all know and take orders. Quote
