it looks abit sprinterish from some angles... i like it very much, better than cut down stock bumpers...

 

mine is zippie tied on so it wont provide any resistance if i hit something (wild life) and you have to cut quite a bit out of them to make hem fit. ive spent a few hours with the angle grinder to make it fit and it still could use more work...

4ac is about to die, it has a blown head gasket and posabley a cracked head.... so I'm keeping my eye out, mite ring up the wreckers tomorow, aparently they have quite a few.

ok long time since i updated this thread, androo,

 

they arnt 71 bumpers.. but from what i know, you take the steel part off, trim down the plastic cover that gose over the steel and reattach the plastic with zipper ties..

**update**

 

now have a 32/36 weeebah

 

upgraded to a electric dizzy as of yesterday.

 

gose alot better with a stronger spark to bur all that over rich fuel mixture.

still have same old shitty susy,

 

brought some 14x7 -5 cheviots,

 

2nd 4ac is still running while the ol T-50 gets more and more grumpy....

eeerrrr yeah one day i surpose...

 

next time a put in another motor i will paint the engine bay, spot weld the rails and strut towers etc, probaly tidy some of the wiring and get some of that cover stuff.

 

problem is when i put the frst motor in i was kinda rushed and just used bits of wire that i found from the donor car ;)

 

the new wire i made up from new wire.

 

also have some ajustabe rear oil shocks and some TRD 6&4kg springs which should suit my setup nicely. just need front shocks and hte est of the brake setup (rotors, wheel bearings)

long time no update...

 

how the car is currently:

 

engine:

4ac

electric dizzy

32/36 webah

exhaust

290 cam

thermo fan

removed emissions

dyno run saw a total of 0.0kw as it was unable to start the rollers moving..

 

susy:

10kg front springs

4.5 trd rear springs

rear adjustable short strokes

brakes remain standard

-1.5degrees camber (std strut tops and lca's)

 

drivetain:

exedy heavy duty organise plate (on the 3rd motor what a champ)

hardcore mutherfkr diff whine

remove syncro on 2nd gear pertly removed on 3rd

 

interior/exterior:

front bar

rear flared guards

nardi classic

tacho dash

bucket seat

removed audio

 

thats about it.....

Who dyno? Brads?

If so you know its less than 70rwkw, as thats what I made on that dyno.

hahah na i wasnt serious si, i would like to get it tuned on a dyno sometime... ive never had it on one.

na its an 86 bar man, modded to fit the squarer front...

 

I'm going to get a peice of aluminium angle to straiten it out as the bottom isnt straight and i have some edging to do a lip with. did it on a mates sprinter the other day looks quite neat actually..
