Medicine_Man Posted August 8, 2006 Report Posted August 8, 2006 Yeah It's pretty easy if you have done it before, you have to wrap rope around the rubber and pull it so it lips over the edgeing when you go around the window. You need someone on the outside to help keep pressure on it.. Quote
Jason Posted August 8, 2006 Author Report Posted August 8, 2006 "pull it so it lips over the edgeing when you go around the window" what do you mean? ;) also how thick does this rope have to be? Quote
Medicine_Man Posted August 8, 2006 Report Posted August 8, 2006 You are not using the rope for the titanic, Just stuff about the thickness of standard 12v automotive wire. It has to be strong enough for you to pull on it without it wanting to break. Pretty sure you have to do about 2 laps of the rubber in 2 different grooves it has. You then put the windscreen down on the back and pull the rope from the inside to lip the rubber over the edge and follow it around the window till you pull the rubber in. Then go around and windscreen with a sealer gun and seal it. Then you have to press the rubber down around the whole thing.. Quote
