beerhead Posted October 23, 2006 Report Posted October 23, 2006 Nice work :D If I could do engine conversion's as quick as you I wouldn't have a huge pile of crap in the garage :) Gonna be fun in the typical tassy wet.

NickZ Posted October 28, 2006 Author Report Posted October 28, 2006 (edited) Bought some paint today, made it look alot better, needs a buff. Edited February 21, 2007 by NickZ
ROLLLA Posted October 28, 2006 Report Posted October 28, 2006 Looks alot better now. Hey hav u had any trouble with the manifold you welded up. Do you think it might be restricting at all?
NickZ Posted November 5, 2006 Author Report Posted November 5, 2006 Nah i don't think it will hurt the performance enough to worry it, It has plenty of go anyway. I went to a swap meet and got myself a nice 15" thermofan and put that on, finished up a bit of wiring, installed my tacho and A/F Ratio gauge, just waiting for a oil and temp gauge. its got a new exhast now from front to back. changed the front springs to ke and fitted new shocks i bought from ToDa30/4. rides a heap better.

Dyzza Posted November 8, 2006 Report Posted November 8, 2006 maan you gotta take this thing to the burnout comps ... if don't have em in tassy - move to archerfield!
NickZ Posted November 9, 2006 Author Report Posted November 9, 2006 I hope so, I'm still waiting for the right tailshaft yoke to turn up, i will also maybe need the tail shaft modified, if thats the case i may not be there for the next drag meet either.
NickZ Posted November 11, 2006 Author Report Posted November 11, 2006 I made my CIG locker diff today, i don't think it was a good idea. I just goes sideways so easy at a intersection, in the few hours after i had finished i think i neally looped it twice coming out of intersections, will do doughnuts in 1st at 2500rpm all day if you wanted it to and a few traffic lights is was crabing sideways of the line through 1st and second without really pushing it too hard. I don't think i like it now, it scares me. Every corner it squeels the tires so I'm sure ill be booked for undue noise, because even if I'm not trying it still does it.
PMP020 Posted November 12, 2006 Report Posted November 12, 2006 what the hellllll CIG LOCKERS FTW. what are u talkin about nick, lockers are the only way in over powered KE's. stupid open wheel skids will get you no where. are u still runing open wheel in ur ke30 2dr? surely not. if u tihnk 1st n 2nd is scary with a locker try top gear at 5500 ina RB30ET rolla with commo mini spool in the rear, that pretty scary. ;) and if u worried about the five ohhh :) , just take it easi wen u flying past them  keep up the good work champ cheers scott
NickZ Posted November 12, 2006 Author Report Posted November 12, 2006 Yeah the 20V ke30 2 door is still a open diff, i don't see the need for a locker in it, it doesnt have heaps of power and on a race track i don't have traction problems.
