JiP Posted August 3, 2006 Report Posted August 3, 2006 Hey guys, Just wanting to pick your brains cause my little rolla has another issue. Okay, i've had this since the beginning and tonight it really got to me. What happens is when she's cold and i go to accelorate, she has no grunt and doesn't wanna progress much. Usually is ok when warmed up. But tonight she didn't wanna give me much all the way home from my sisters (about 15-20km). When i wanted to go i had to rev the f@$k out of her. Like when i'd start moving she wouldn't go much and from there i had to rev her a couple times to get her moving. Even after she was warmed up it continued. Anyone had this problem before or knows how to fix it. Quote
Des Posted August 3, 2006 Report Posted August 3, 2006 mine does that when its cold the remedy for that is wait till it warms up :lock_folder: , but it doin it when its warm i have no idea maybe a little bit of shit in your tank :lock: Quote
Robert Posted August 3, 2006 Report Posted August 3, 2006 Tune-up timing mixtures clean carby check: plugs leads points coil dizzy cap and rotor button check compression (dry and wet) check fuel pressure and flow and carby float level. and check your air filters not clogged and restricted does your clutch get much slip?, can you smell it burning when you take-off? very unlikely but check brakes for drag, shouldn't have much effect on performance unless excessive its probably one of the things mentioned above, check in order of whats easiest and cheap to whats expensive. Cheers, Rob Quote
coln72 Posted August 3, 2006 Report Posted August 3, 2006 Its not doing something stupid and icing up the carby. My ke35 used to do this all the time when the twins were fitted. End up having to hold it flat in 3rd to stop it missing. Fixed it by running an air pickup close to the extractors. Quote

We don't do ice. :lock_folder: If it gets real bad, come and see me. I'm in Aspley, and I'll take a look at it. R Edited August 3, 2006 by Redwarf Quote
