Guest Sbox Posted February 4, 2008 Report Posted February 4, 2008 My mother in law is going to kill me. :jamie: I need a shed DESPERATELY. Thought it was the father in law Adam. On the shed front, you ain't Robinson f@$king Crusoe there. With help I have the trusty ke55 going again, though there are teething dramas. Had to pack up everything, unpack everything about 25 times due to the rain. Almost sent me a bit mental, luckily I'm made of sterner stuff. How was the movie?
ae174agze Posted February 4, 2008 Report Posted February 4, 2008 I'm after a bigport head. Why did you buy a bigport head if you don't need it though? big port head flows more air (turbo) and has slighly more aggressive cams
zmit Posted February 4, 2008 Report Posted February 4, 2008 ok..... Sbox. I'm in the same position :jamie: 3 cars, room for 1
ae174agze Posted February 4, 2008 Report Posted February 4, 2008 i'm 17 and have 3 all ready taking up all the room ahahahah
zmit Posted February 4, 2008 Report Posted February 4, 2008 haha. top effort man. I'm 18 ;) if anyone hears of somewhere to store some cars, let me know :bash:
ae174agze Posted February 4, 2008 Report Posted February 4, 2008 shit there is a place,,, it was on boost a wile back adam linked me too me befor i baught the ae71 ummmmm we need a rolla club shed ahahah
Pure-SX Posted February 4, 2008 Author Report Posted February 4, 2008 Hrrm I have heard otherwise about the big/small port? All depends on the application I suppose?
ancullen Posted February 4, 2008 Report Posted February 4, 2008 me engine should be rocking up on friday + i got a big port head to put on it for 100 bucks so i'll have a spare if any ones interested big port head flows more air (turbo) and has slighly more aggressive cams LOL, I know the bigport head flows more than the smallport, and has slightly better cams. I was just curious how you were ending up with a spare. I may need it, or maybe not. It depends if Danno buys Shane's bigport or not. If he doesn't, I will, leaving me with a smallport 4A-GZE, two bigport 4A-GE's, and a silvertop 20v. :sob: My mother in law is going to kill me. :( I need a shed DESPERATELY. The father-in-law doesn't mind as much as the mother-in-law. Neither are really happy about the situation, but the mother-in-law is worse. If I could I would buy a block and a BIG shed ASAP and rent space to the five or six people who have already expressed a need for car space. I've got four cars that need to be parked in a shed, Tim has two or three, Gregor has two or three, Shane has the RX7, I presume Andrew would put the AE71 there, and there is the guy building the V12 Supra that needs two spots. That's six people needing room for up to 14 cars by my count. So I just need $280,000 for a block, around $10,000 to connect power & a bore, and about $50,000 to build an 18x30m shed. Can anyone loan a brother some cash? :y: Idiocracy was good - different to what I was expecting. Loved the Time Machine. ;) shit there is a place,,, it was on boost a wile back adam linked me too me befor i baught the ae71 ummmmm we need a rolla club shed ahahah RollaClub shed FTW!!! Might need to look into renting one between us or something? Although, if I could get $20/week per car space for people to use my shed space, with five people renting ten spaces, that's $200/week extra I can afford to pay off a loan. That adds about $100,000 to the total amount I could borrow. Hmm... :bash:
ae174agze Posted February 4, 2008 Report Posted February 4, 2008 big port head flows more air because its being rammed in by the turbo the intake velocity in the runners don't matter so mutch rollaclub shed would be a good idear
wasfishing Posted February 5, 2008 Report Posted February 5, 2008 i hav sum room at my place for now, until my bro buys his 4wd and gets his car up then there will be zero room. anyone hav a passagaer side tailight cover for a 89 zook mine got smashed during a recovery last night recovery of me, almost lost the zook
ancullen Posted February 5, 2008 Report Posted February 5, 2008 Uh, no Suzuki parts here. Would you guys pay $20/week for a car space in a shed? That's $20/week per car space.
wasfishing Posted February 5, 2008 Report Posted February 5, 2008 yes if i needed shed space, sounds fairly cheap, what would access be liuke only when ur there or when eva its needed?
ancullen Posted February 5, 2008 Report Posted February 5, 2008 Could probably do it so it's whenever you need access. There would be some rules, but only basic stuff like if you're taking anyone else there, you'd need to tell me first. If it were going to contain fourteen cars or so, I wouldn't want anyone's stuff getting nicked, so I'd only want people I trust going in there. The guy with the Supra has mentioned that he'd want access at funny hours due to his work and he'd be there fairly regularly. I haven't mentioned this idea to him as I don't know how soon it could happen. Alley and I would need to be able to borrow about $350,000 to do it. But Alley wants to live in the shed, which is a farking stupid idea, but I can't seem to talk her out of it. I'd prefer to have the shed built, live in our current unit for another 1-2 years and then have a nice house built on the big block when we can afford it. Then we can move into the nice house and rent our unit out.
ae174agze Posted February 5, 2008 Report Posted February 5, 2008 well having you living in the shed could be added saftey for the cars i guess would be awsorm but if we could do that i'd pay 20 bucks a week NO WORRIES to have an area to work and store a car
ancullen Posted February 5, 2008 Report Posted February 5, 2008 But if we lived in the shed I'd have to put up with the farking noise and people coming around constantly. ;) Although, it might inspire me to get my cars finished if others are working on theirs.
