Pure-SX Posted February 1, 2008 Author Report Posted February 1, 2008 How much for interior plastic? $300 for aircon vent? ;)
wasfishing Posted February 1, 2008 Report Posted February 1, 2008 arrr adam just sturing shit ;) ahahahah sounded like u got a twin plate clutch probably break the gearbox befor the clutch ahahahah whats a good clutch to put behind like a 100-150 ish at the wheels 4age with a w55 gearbox ANDREW i hav the perfect clutch for u, extreme 5 puk brass button, newish only 15 000km or so, which is fark all for a clutch, is currently in a aw11 mr2 (mine) don't like it so its going (i think) only reason I'm not happy with it is with my engine layout it puts alot of preasure on the engine mount at the front of the motor and kills it, I'm replacing it with a extreme haevy duty thingo that i got out of another car. cost between 600-800 new if ur interested make an offer, its still in good condition my engine mounts are not bloody toyota built the aw11 with awd 3sgte for Group S rally then the class was dropped n the cars were never used to full potential :bash:
ancullen Posted February 1, 2008 Report Posted February 1, 2008 bloody toyota built the aw11 with awd 3sgte for Group S rally then the class was dropped n the cars were never used to full potential ;) There's uncertainty which engine was used in the AW11 Group S. There were at least three models built, one transverse MR, one longitudinal MR, one longitudinal mid-engined AWD. The engine may have been the 3S-GTE in one or more of these models, but there is also a very strong chance that it was the 503E or possibly even a 152E or 4T-GTE. The 503E was talked about as being based on the 3S-GTE, but apparently this is untrue and it is far closer to the 3T-GTE! The 152E was apparently similar to the 18R-G, but with a 16v head. I still want an AW11 with 3S-GE (SW11/MR2 Mk1.5). And a Group S replica with 3S-GTE would be sweet too - I wouldn't be able to afford to make it AWD though. :bash:

Otherwise wheel alignment will be f@$ked, ask me when I get a chance. I'm swapping 4k's at the moment as engine went bang, can't complain as it was ok for 8 years. Exhaust wise, it's the dude at 1/12 Travers St. off Coconut grove. Andy Glencross TPL Echaust shop. Ph:89851044 Only heard good things about him.
