Pure-SX Posted January 29, 2008 Author Report Posted January 29, 2008 Lol If you rush it its gonna blow you should know that lol. I am aiming at end of year/mid next year lol.
ancullen Posted January 30, 2008 Report Posted January 30, 2008 BTW, do I have to keep leaving warnings about the changing of signatures (Stephen & Shane) or do I just need to speak to the moderators?
Pure-SX Posted January 30, 2008 Author Report Posted January 30, 2008 (edited) Pardon? I haven't seen any warnings? /shrug Edited January 30, 2008 by Pure-SX
ancullen Posted January 30, 2008 Report Posted January 30, 2008 I hate you guys so much with your damn quoting! Sounds good. BTW, please stop putting quotes from me in your signature - that goes for all of you. I thought there was another warning after the 24th, but apparently not.
ae174agze Posted January 30, 2008 Report Posted January 30, 2008 well most of my engine is plug and play really no tuening and shit involved yet i aint gonna go in the burnout comp (open diff FTL) burnouts should be left to the v8's crusing dyno drag racing shit like that
Pure-SX Posted January 30, 2008 Author Report Posted January 30, 2008 I saw the first one but I thought you were messing around didn't see the 2nd Diffs can go doing other things to :hmm:
ancullen Posted January 30, 2008 Report Posted January 30, 2008 I broke the diff on the KE55 when I first tried a burnout. I didn't even want to sit there and smoke it, just fry the tyres off the line. I revved it up, dumped the clutch, then it went bang thanks to axle tramp.
Pure-SX Posted January 30, 2008 Author Report Posted January 30, 2008 Ahh one of the benefits of having a FWD, its friggen alot harder to break :hmm: the wheels just tend to spin :S
ancullen Posted January 30, 2008 Report Posted January 30, 2008 FWD has HEAPS of benefits, but RWD is more fun. AWD can be more fun in the right situation, but RWD can become at almost any time. :hmm:
Pure-SX Posted January 30, 2008 Author Report Posted January 30, 2008 I agree with that statement. RWD is alot of fun. FWD can be alot of fun (Read: Handbrake on max and well ....) I am lazy :hmm:
Sirolla[RL] Posted January 30, 2008 Report Posted January 30, 2008 (edited) anyone experience LSDs on FWDs? esp. 2-way? And are they hard to adjust/tune? Edited January 30, 2008 by Sirolla
Pure-SX Posted January 30, 2008 Author Report Posted January 30, 2008 Hrrm havnt seen any 2ways. just 1.5ways What you got planned? There are plenty available for both C/E series boxes :hmm:
Sirolla[RL] Posted January 30, 2008 Report Posted January 30, 2008 (edited) Is rollaclub your homepage? anyway, thinking of investing in one for my fx-gt. As i want to turn it into a track/competition car so pros and cons i suppose at this stage. I guess i'll have to take out Forza 2, buy a EG6, stock, just buy exhaust and a 2-way LSD and see how it handles compared to stock. I'll end up fitting a fricken stage 3 supercharger kit and full suspension by the end of that.. Edited January 30, 2008 by Sirolla
ancullen Posted January 30, 2008 Report Posted January 30, 2008 Is rollaclub your homepage? LOL!!! - 10 points to Daven!!! anyway, thinking of investing in one for my fx-gt. As i want to turn it into a track/competition car so pros and cons i suppose at this stage. Apparently 2-way LSD's aren't the best idea for FWD cars as they make the vehicle significantly more difficult to turn in. A 1.5-way LSD means that it doesn't have as strong an effect under deceleration, but still a strong effect when accelerating (where it is needed most). 2-way LSD's also seem to be fairly difficult to obtain for the C & E-series transmissions, although I presume they're out there as MR2's would use them.
Sirolla[RL] Posted January 30, 2008 Report Posted January 30, 2008 (edited) so a 1.5 way would be a better option then. tweakit has it for 1.3k, bit pricey pricey.. KAAZ 1.5 way LSD Edited January 30, 2008 by Sirolla
