ancullen Posted December 5, 2007 Report Posted December 5, 2007 Those four spoke Lensos are FARKING ugly. DO NOT BUY THEM - PLEASE!!!
Pure-SX Posted December 5, 2007 Author Report Posted December 5, 2007 I wouldnt buy them for the ae82 rofl. I have some taste :jamie:. Having a look at thin spoke designs atm ranging from 5-8/10 spoke etc.
ancullen Posted December 5, 2007 Report Posted December 5, 2007 Yeah, they'd be good. Thin eight spokes would be cool.
wasfishing Posted December 5, 2007 Report Posted December 5, 2007 mmm maybe how much were the te37 rip offs?
ancullen Posted December 5, 2007 Report Posted December 5, 2007 Don't know. Go to www.tyres.com and contact them for a price. I don't mind the Lenso LS-GT's myself.
Pure-SX Posted December 5, 2007 Author Report Posted December 5, 2007 Thin spokes on the ae82 in black would be shweet.
ae174agze Posted December 6, 2007 Report Posted December 6, 2007 (edited) yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh mod locked our thread Edited December 6, 2007 by ae174agze
Pure-SX Posted December 6, 2007 Author Report Posted December 6, 2007 (edited) Possible rims for black ae82 sedan http://www.tempetyres.com.au/products_clos...amp;part_no=822 http://www.tempetyres.com.au/products_clos...mp;part_no=1270 http://www.tempetyres.com.au/products_clos...amp;part_no=766 Probably in that order..... Just a few I pulled off the site. Edit: Last rims might suit it now if I got it painted black without kit, but would look pretty bad with the kit lol Edited December 6, 2007 by Pure-SX
ancullen Posted December 6, 2007 Report Posted December 6, 2007 First ones are good - that's pretty much exactly what I was trying to suggest. I'm not a fan of the three piece look though (with the visible bolts holding the section together). The others are shite. What about these: http://www.tempetyres.com.au/products_clos...mp;part_no=1425? Or any of these (for the GT-Four): http://www.tempetyres.com.au/products.asp?...o+Racing+Sports Or you could go for the Super Black look: http://www.tempetyres.com.au/products_clos...mp;part_no=1149
Pure-SX Posted December 6, 2007 Author Report Posted December 6, 2007 Fair point, I would prefer a white rim over a black rim on the ae82 I reckon. I like the first rim I posted. The white would pop off the black paint and the chrome lip would be a nice accent piece lol. I don't mind the 3 piece look lol
wasfishing Posted December 6, 2007 Report Posted December 6, 2007 omg i love lenso's wish i could get some y must i b so picky with wheels
Pure-SX Posted December 6, 2007 Author Report Posted December 6, 2007 (edited) The last rims you posted would look so nice :(. Nice big brakes, bling rotors/caliper hell yeah kkthx Edit: Hows Gregor going with the new baby? Havn't seem him on for awhile. Edited December 6, 2007 by Pure-SX
ancullen Posted December 6, 2007 Report Posted December 6, 2007 Baby cries - Gregor & Trudi don't get much sleep. :( As for the closure of the Shannons Motoring Extravaganza topic, it was done because the moderating team felt that the conversation had gone too far off topic. They feel that this happens far too often, and that this topic (NT General Discussion) is used to discuss stuff that needn't be discussed on the RollaClub forums. So, we have to all focus on trying to keep discussion on topic. We can discuss upcoming events that are car or Corolla related. We can talk about organising cruises and times to get together and have NT RollaClub meetings. If you want to talk about something off topic, if it's really random, use the Off Topic area in the general forums. If it something that may only be loosely linked to cars (eg. plans to modify your own car), send an email. You all have it, and you know that if I don't have time to chat, I simply will leave a response until later (as would happen on the forums). I will reopen the Shannons Motoring Extravaganza thread, but we will only use it to discuss preparing the cars for the event and arranging times to do so. If you're unsure about a message you want to post, just send it via email. You'll all receive an email or pm (in Andrew's case) shortly to let you know of my and others' contact details. This way we can use a "Reply To All" email to keep conversation happening without creating spam on RollaClub. Adam EDIT: The above really only applies to myself, wasfishing, ae174agze and Pure-SX. Everyone else is doing pretty well, and feel free to post the way you have been. We have been using this area a bit too much for random discussion.
Pure-SX Posted December 6, 2007 Author Report Posted December 6, 2007 /sign Sorry mods. It does get a little out of hand occasionally. Its probably mainly my fault...
