Pure-SX Posted March 10, 2008 Author Report Posted March 10, 2008 Hrrm I am not sure, go searching the wreckers? Or maybe call a few radiator shops?
ancullen Posted March 10, 2008 Report Posted March 10, 2008 All the heat exchanger is is a smallish radiator. As Stephen said, go to a couple of radiator shops and see what they can do for you. Berrimah or Rural Radiators are both good. DON'T go to the local Natrad - they were crap when I went there, although that was when I had the Galant, so about four to five years ago.
Pure-SX Posted March 10, 2008 Author Report Posted March 10, 2008 Adam email me mate, need to chat :)

ancullen Posted March 10, 2008 Report Posted March 10, 2008 how big is the standard heat exchanger adam? Not sure - not very big though.  just get ur standard one recored i reckon custom alloy ones ur looking at 500 + and u don’t want ur engine to run too cool a friend of mine who races improved production got a good sized pwr radiator and had to block off 2/3s of it because it was making his engine run too cool aahahah and don’t get a big intercooler either sleeper ftw :) Remember this is for the intake air, not the whole engine. The intake air will need to be kept as cool as possible, so in a way, bigger is better.
wasfishing Posted March 10, 2008 Report Posted March 10, 2008 i wana see supra pics, alreadi seen XXXline  quick question for ya, how do i get my rotary to top dead centre? :)  mate told me to do that and then set the cams off that, i punched him and he gave me a what 4 so i hit him again and again untill he got it :y:  kiwis lol
dailyrollaae71 Posted March 10, 2008 Report Posted March 10, 2008 andrew me tacho is done? i seen these cars too. i think it would be a poo to drive day to day. and they both spool up to late, No sideways for those 2.
ae174agze Posted March 10, 2008 Report Posted March 10, 2008 (edited) na man Michaels spools at about 3500 and jakes jakes about 4500-5000k but jakes cars geared to do 300kph 95 in first ftw  bigger isn't always better in some cases. Big intercoolers can be bad as the air starts to lose air velocity, and start bouncing off the walls of the piping and intercooler loses flow pretty much water to air is best :) and you not gonna be trashing your car that match anyways so don't need a huge one :y:  and can anyone help is 70 bucks an hour cheap for an auto elecky to wire up my car  cheers fellas Edited March 10, 2008 by ae174agze

wasfishing Posted March 10, 2008 Report Posted March 10, 2008 yea its stamped on the block, gearbox side i think, rust repair went well all painted up looks half decent, then it rained n all my tools parts sandpaper everything but the painting i had done got wet, I'm not happy i was planing on working longer n gettin it back together
Pure-SX Posted March 10, 2008 Author Report Posted March 10, 2008 I "believe" it is a gze gearbox, ain't sure. I have to dig up the number on that also, but have SFA idea where the number is rofl.
