Yeah I just seen his silvia going through town, sounds like it has a "minor bearing problem" lol.

Edit: I think Adam may be extremely sick, there seems to be alot less ego-inflating posting done by himself, also he seems happy

Meh, I almost hope Bilal has car issues. But then, if he has car issues, then he's just got to do more dodgy stuff to get money for repairs.

Remember I want the diff/axle assembly. Preferably with the rear brakes, but okay if not.

BTW, Aristo's are actually starting to look to good to me. Not the six cylinder, but the AWD V8 version. Two available at the moment (not that I've got anywhere near the money):

Pity the front end looks so boring on Aristos. I like the taillights on the dark coloured one, but hate the spoiler thing it's got. One of these would be awesome with a towbar, and the engine stroked out to 5.0/5.2L with a Whipple/Sprintex supercharger sitting on top. Should have about 500hp and torque to spare. Great for towing cars, even better for out-dragging V8 Commodores - even with the car trailer on the back.

It'd be super-sweet if it could be converted to manual. It'd be quicker than the Audi RS4 I want, but MUCH cheaper (about $30,000 vs. $150,000). But they're so much more expensive than SC400's. :) I'll wait a few years for the prices to crash then buy one. :bash:

Adam ALWAYS wants new cars. Adam is finally getting where he wants to be in life and doing things he's planned on doing for MANY years - not big things, just things I've wanted to do. Adam is at a happy place in his life in many ways, which is great, because many of the previous 22 years sucked in a lot of ways.

Adam thinks people speaking in the third person is okay if only done occassionally. Both Adam and Adam think Stephen sucks. :) Quote that, bitch.

Daven ur gettin a fxgt? NICE I WANT

That is the plan. I'll do all the saving up i need this year and import one next year. I might even sell the AE90 if i have to come around to doing that (i don't because i love that car, even though its slow, but it just makes the next car more worth it!)

And build it for track days as i've always wanted too.

Too bad i want the one with power everything :) it'll just make the car heavier. But i'm sure i can reduce weight elsewhere. And apparently its the same length as the 5dr hatch.

Its essentially the exactly same body I believe but no rear doors if you will.

Stephen thinks Adam should stop speaking in 3rd person because it is confusing when one is tired :)

Things left that I need

Picking turbo/ecu up tonight

Gotta find an intercooler.

Will be going with a oil cooler/relocation(need to find one)

Going to custom fabrication saturday morning to see how much they will charge/how long they will take :bash:

Looking pretty good atm

P.S I know its a dodgy way of doing it, as I will not be rebuilding the motor initially, the use of a thicker metal headgasket would lower the compression a little, but would it be worth while?

Posted

A thick, metal headgasket will be fine. You may have to go for a really thick one like 1.6mm or 2.0mm to be safe. You still won't be able to run massive boost as you haven't got the strength of the forged/semi-forged pistons. So long as you're okay with that, then yes, you'll be fine.

Three door AE92's are cool. I also like the three door ZZE122 - Corolla T-Sport Kompressor anyone?

Mmm, AWD supercharged V8 power... Sorry got distracted. Ideally I'd like a supercharged V8 100-series, with the engine stroked out to 5.5L, but I don't have the money's. :) ULTIMATE tow vehicle!
