andrew Posted May 25, 2004 Report Posted May 25, 2004 it does look very very nice indeed. the wheels suit it, the color is also great. the body looks perfect! Quote
Teddy Posted May 25, 2004 Author Report Posted May 25, 2004 I'm super paranoid about rust after owning the blue car, so don't mind my over reaction to keeping the car dry... lol Here is a preview of the inside (stay with me now, don't get lost!) Start with this immage... Now, immagin taking away the... - tacko - that steering wheel - those seets - those side mirrors (and replace with chrome 1's from a fiat) Now, Change those seats with mine... (note the brown side panels to soon become black) Then, Add the center console bit - Black and silver (the bit ova the park break and gear nob - that center section) Now, Add this steering wheel (ill get the 1 with the chrome spokes, not black 1's) Img tags didnt work - click ME Now, take note of the door trim - Mine are VERY similar to that, but they have chrome door handels, and black plastic surrounding molds - that is the S model Ke70, came with out the fancy door trims, no center console bit etc, where as mine is a Cs (full of csx parts) lol Use the csx tacko already in mine, Put the Radio where justin has his in his corolla - up the top were standard radio is, Free up that bottom bit for project later on... & 2 Last things - See the silva plastic surrounding the air con controles... (circled) - I'm going to make that a glossy silver, and where the other circle is showing - the inside bit of that door trim is going to be silver as well. Now to sum up - all the other plastic bits will be black with either some silver or red on them - I'm not going to completly give away what colours going where, but I'm sure u can immagin it ! - and thats where the yello corolla i am buying will come into play - take the insides out of it, colour all of them, try out stuff and then put into mine when its ALL done so it doenst look like a patch work job ! (ur keen for reading this far down lol) :P Quote
Medicine_Man Posted May 25, 2004 Report Posted May 25, 2004 Put the Radio where justin has his in his corolla - up the top were standard radio is, Free up that bottom bit for project later on... I don't know why people put the Tape Deck / CD Player in front of the gear shift, it would be a pain in the ring to change CDs while driving. I find its far more accessible to put it where the factory radio is, then it frees up the bottom console for your CB Radio :P Quote
Teddy Posted May 25, 2004 Author Report Posted May 25, 2004 ahh yes... Memo 2 self - get Cb Radio... ! Quote
ae71neo Posted May 25, 2004 Report Posted May 25, 2004 My cd player is there, it gets in the way a bit but it isnt very solidly secured and it skips  Maybe its the headunit. haha after seeing the first pic i thought you had a nardi for a second! :P Quote
Nitephyre Posted May 26, 2004 Report Posted May 26, 2004 tom, buy my van.. then you can fit your MTB in the back :P :fuzz: Quote
andrew Posted May 26, 2004 Report Posted May 26, 2004 i had my stezza there in my ae71 and it was ok because i had a short shifter so changing cd's was no prob! :P Quote
