Redwarf Posted June 24, 2005 Report Posted June 24, 2005 (edited) I know this car. Sorry to tell you but it's purely for show. Although it has Hi-lux back end in it, it was still running standard brakes on the front, and the owner had no interest in changing them. I couldn't believe that after spending so much money on everything else why he didn't do the brakes. Edited June 24, 2005 by Redwarf Quote
demuire Posted June 24, 2005 Report Posted June 24, 2005 You gotta love the "massive wheel, tiny brakes" package  Quote
Jason Posted June 24, 2005 Report Posted June 24, 2005 (edited) hahaah micro drums  i like that Edited June 24, 2005 by Jason Quote
demuire Posted June 24, 2005 Report Posted June 24, 2005 I like how my brakes, both back and front, clear my rims by about 2mm  Quote
Super Jamie Posted June 24, 2005 Report Posted June 24, 2005 there was a civic that parked next door to my old work with the same things. and the 17s were really skinny spoke ones so you could see the brakes really well  Quote
Tiger Posted June 24, 2005 Report Posted June 24, 2005 (scratches head... looks confused) OK... you blow bucks under the bonnet to have such a power gain added to the car, and in order to bring the car to a hault safely... you require bigger brakes (one would think anyway) WHY do a job half hearted? Sorry.. I wouldn't have put it for show without getting the backs done!!! But that's just me  Quote
