aedan_man Posted July 18, 2006 Report Posted July 18, 2006 (edited) I am a new here and just want to know what I can do to my car. I have an 88' 4a-ge ae82 rolla. it is a twin cam red top 16v 4a-ge. All that has been done to the engine is a pod filter. It also has a 6" tip for the exhaust. no performance just a mean sound. I just want to know how I can the most performance out of the car with the least price, whether I try extractors, injectors or an safc computer to tune my stock computer. Here are some pictures. it is a bit dirty, i take it fishing on dirt roads and tear it up a bit. through the sand sometimes also :jamie: Edited July 18, 2006 by aedan_man Quote

Medicine_Man Posted July 18, 2006 Report Posted July 18, 2006 Don't waste your money on an SAFC, Just spend the extra money and get an aftermarket ECU installed. Then mabey a CAS off a GZE with multiple coilpacks to upgrade the ignition side of things, Some bigger injectors, Different cams with cam gears etc. Quote
aedan_man Posted July 19, 2006 Author Report Posted July 19, 2006 I am looking to spend well less then $1000, just a cheap mod for something to do. how much will all that cost me? Quote
beerhead Posted July 28, 2006 Report Posted July 28, 2006 I've got some stainless 20V fwd primaries here if your interested, $40. You just need the 2 outer bolt holes slotted to make it bolt up. Stick away from fuel only computers, control of your timing when you change the fuel mix is a very handy thing. Quote
