ok what over size valves have u guys fitted & any mods to the valves to fit them & how much should i get the head shaved to give 9.8 to 1 please

no idea with oversized valves. nothing is a direct fit. not worth the effort for a street engine in my opinion. not on a 4k anyway. just get a 3 angle seat job.

 

measure your combustion chambers to work out what CR you have now (taking head gasket thickness into account). from there you should be able to work out how much you need removed.

i thought 3k heads were weak? personally i reccomend getting a belt sander and goin over the head for a while, n try that! haha jk, what motor is it? i think 1/4 a mm mite do the trick, i have no idea tho, just thinking of what ive seen of different thickness head gaskets used on rb engines

:lolcry: & do the valve job with a angle grinder . its a 4k motor & i will fit the 3k head (later types are ok ), i want to keep the 4k-c head incase the superecharger thing happens as its 8'5 to 1

it was a $500 head and it had SOHC gemini walves, it was full house but it would have made a little K motor scream
