You are strolling down some scrappy flea market in Portugal looking for Italian pottery for the wife who you have left in Australia (salves the guilt), see a distributor on a tarp and within a millisecond, know it’s for a 3K without even bending down. €8.

I don’t actually have any guilt, but I am missing the dogs.

Lol!!    ..and flea markets are great places for old Toyota parts!

You don't want a quick side trip to Cyprus to see the old Toyotas frozen in the disputed border??  Untouched in their dealers showrooms since 1974..

We actually had someone from Cyprus on here recently, asking for assistance; & I meant to ask him or her, had they ever been to see the olde Toyotas, frozen in time.

Although the strip of land, I believe is under UN control, & has UN police there permanently stationed there; I believe there are guided tours thereof.  An Australian TV crew visited there several years ago, & I watched the show on TV, & couldn't believe what I was seeing.

Would be a fascinating trip, but a bit close to Lebanon for my liking. There’s a couple of Cyprus sellers on eBay with a regular treasure trove of NOS parts. I often wonder if they have some sort of access and are secreting things out.
