Removing KE1x door handles

Hi. I'm having trouble removing KE11 outer door handles. There is a "claw" that operates lock mechanisms that will not fit through square hole in the door. Repair manual basicly says "Remove two nuts and door handle", no instructions whatsoever.

 

I'm feeling stupid, there must be some easy way that I'm not realizing.

Got my answer from other source. For anyone who is having same problem: That "Claw" should turn towards the door. Mine was stuck, had to use prybar to turn it.
