Des Posted July 16, 2006 Report Posted July 16, 2006 hey guys and girls, i was driving to work last night about 8pm just cruisen on 100kph a falcon pulled out in front of me hit the brakes slowed down to 80 sat on 80 behind him at a reasonable distance about 2 car lengths waited for the overtaking lane.got there so i put me foot down went past him then he had the nerve to turn his high beams on, so i slowed down to 80 so he could pass he didnt slowed to 50 nope slowed to 20 he still didnt pass so i speed back up then he passed me and screamed something out the window and fliped me off(some people). ok i could deal with that but at the set of lights at jimboomba i was behind him both slowing for the lights he hit his brakes hard locked up i did the same and locked em up.that put me over the edge i speed off and parked and went to go to work he pulled up got out of his car screaming wtf do ya think ya doin, both goin off at each other. i was late for work so i got back in me car when i got in he said where do ya think ur goin i said work ya faggot he punched my bonnet dent it i droped the clutch took off past him and his car and keyed it with a 20c coin and went to work.now i know i was part of the problem we both started it i got in shit from my boss for bitching outside woolies.i can admit i was being a wanker so was he sorry bro. let us know of your road rage story id like to hear it. :jamie:

After he locked them up you should have fallen back, followed him to where ever he was going, waited till he was away from his car and keyed it. Well, you still can if you see it again. He mostlikely will now that he knows what type of car you drive. Did you take his details down?? Plus i think he got off easy. Your dint would most likely cost you more to repair than his scratch. I don't agree with scratching someones car, but this short tempered wanker thinks its right to punch another car. Hope he hurt his fist.

Hope he hurt his fist. my bonnet already had dents in them but they were from me not other people so that it dented it more didnt worry me but someone else doin it that pissed me off. i was 100 and he was doin about 70-80 when he pulled out.then sat on 80 in a 100 zone.don't BE LIKE ME PEOPLE JUST WALK AWAY ITS SAFER :cool:

coln72 Posted July 16, 2006 Report Posted July 16, 2006 Years ago I was cruising along in Melbourne when some bogans in a Torana entered from a side street, crossed 3 lanes to cut in front of me, causing me to brake hard and proceeded to travel 20kmh under the limit in the fast lane. Flashed high beam at them. I could tell they were up to something as the passengers kept looking at me. Sure enough they slammed on the brakes. Fair enough braked and went to go around them. This is when they tried to cut me off by crossing into the next lane. This PISSED me off so I gave them the bird and kept going. Check mirrors and they are sitting about 2" from my rear bumper. This goes on until next set of lights which changed red. Hell I had to stop for a red didn't I :cool: This is when bogan number 1 jumped out and wnated to fight me! with bogan number 2 waiting to jump me from behind :jamie: I declined and just smiled at them. Bogan 1 then tried to ram his fist through my window. Think someone may have called the cops as they then pissed off.
mikeys toy[RL] Posted July 17, 2006 Report Posted July 17, 2006 i used to drive big ol' trucks and people used to cut me off ALL the time; they would try to cut me off on the right, and if i saw them, i would run them up against the guard rail, or run them into the center median. i would always time it out and make DAMN sure i was in the right; i.e. "Icouldn't see him officer, he was on the shoulder trying to pass me.....i just didn't expect him to be there" i was never faulted in any of the accidents, and i don't regret any of them p.s., i keep a cup o' nutz and boltz in my car to take care of tailgaters i'm 6'1', 280lbs so i'm not too worried about a fight....i can handle a couple of guys, and i alvays have my trusty knife.....
Des Posted July 17, 2006 Author Report Posted July 17, 2006 after we bitched and i drove off and i parked in the backdock of woolies they have a camera or two watching it so if he tryies anything he`d be caught on tape and i would see him and call sercurity and have him for trespassing.

towe001 Posted July 17, 2006 Report Posted July 17, 2006 For me it was a case of the driver not understanding what a crossing was. At a set of traffic lights i had the green walk signal and the guy in the car was turning right cutting across my path (which ment i had the right of way). Almost ran me down, abused the crap though me for walking in front of his path. So i took a step back to make the dude happy, he started to drive off and stalled the car. I walked passed, the dude didn't like that so when he got the car re-started he parked the thing and proceeded to follow me into a shop, and right there in front of a secruity camera, staff and customers slap me around the face a couple of times and shouting at me. The shop manager called the cops, who questioned the staff, questioned me out the front of the shop, i pointed out the guy that had the go at me (who it seamed like that he drove around the block) so they pulled him up and questioned on the otherside of the street. Now the weird crap.... The cop gave me a call later that night to tell me that i was lucky that i didn't have a go at the driver the cause the manager would have been in his right to sue me...... my story was different to the people in the shop the cop told me that the driver did not physically slap me cause i did have the marks of being slapped (took over an hour for the marks to show up), i asked about the camera footage, "no, we don't have to veiw that"...... my story was incorrect to the driver's one cause an automatic will not stall and that its impossible for an automatic to stall. You can press charges but it will not hold up in court.. So i hung up. Thinking about it all now i could have seen a lawer about it

Fayt Posted July 17, 2006 Report Posted July 17, 2006 this wasnt me but i was told about it, a mate of a mate of mine were driving a 13bt rx2 and these bogans in this torana or something similar started tailgating this dude in the rx, so the dude in the rx went to speed off and the torana sped up with him a bee's dick of his rear bumper, the torana keeps following (keeping in mind that they were going quite fast at this stage) and they get to a sharpish corner, the little agile rx2 pulls around the corner no worries at the high speeds and the bogans in the torana oversteered, drove up on the gutter and into a fence :jamie: at times like these it always nice to hear about these sort of things :cool:
mikeys toy[RL] Posted July 17, 2006 Report Posted July 17, 2006 no it's not worth it; but when you're going with the flow of traffic, 2-3 carlengths of space, and some asshole cuts you off (almost hitting you in the process) just to slam on the brakes and turn into a side road or driveway. then they flip you off for almost hitting them! accident happens, it's the errrant drivers' fault regardless of if i could stop or not, usually i would not try, or i would pull the trolley valve locking up the trailer brakes so it appeared i tried to stop i hate 4 wheelers some times
SoulSearcher Posted July 17, 2006 Report Posted July 17, 2006 About 2 years ago we just got our MR2, I wasn't able to drive it for 2 months because insurance wouldn't cover me until I turned 30. So my Birthday arrived and I was finally allowed to drive the MR2 :jamie: It was a beautiful Saturday morning. I decided to go shopping and then do some cruising. I was going down the freeway at 100klms/h (the speed limit) and I was overtaking slow moving traffic. A guy in a black Audi came barrelling up behind me and starts flashing his high beams...I put my hand up (as if to say wait a minute, I'm still overtaking) and made sure I was a correct distance in front of the car I was over taking. Remember, this was the first time I'd driven the car. The guy in the Audi was behind me waving his hands in the air (the get the F*ck out of the way kind)..The mirrors were the *objects are closer than they appear* so I was super careful to make sure there was enough distance before I pulled in. I pulled into the middle lane and the guy in the Audi went screaming past then pulled into the middle lane and locked it up. I freaked out and pulled back into the outside lane to miss him. He sped up, pulled into the outside lane and again locked it up. I was terrified I was going to have an accident, so I pulled into the middle lane and thought, bugger this, and slowed down to 80. What did the Audi do? Went back into the middle lane and locks it up in front of me. I thought *what a wanker* and went to the outside lane thinking I'd blast past him, well I came level with him and he starts speeding up, then he tries to swerve into me (twice). I locked it up, then went WAY over to the left hand emergency stopping lane and stopped. The entire time this happened, I forgot to get his number plate. I sat on the side of the road shaking like a leaf. I thought I've gotta report this so I drove straight to the police station in the city. I went in there, and a policeman asked if he could help me *and I did the girly thing* I burst into tears....I recounted what happened and he said he'd put an all points bulletin out on it. I knew the model and approx year model of the car, gave a description of the driver etc., etc., but couldn't give him the registration. *doh* Later that day whilst cruising I saw *four* yes, *four* black Audi's being pulled over by the cops, none of them was the one that was involved. To this day, I get nervous if I'm overtaking and a car comes up behind me. Lesley :cool:
