madrolla68 Posted July 7, 2006 Report Posted July 7, 2006 Does naybody have any idea how to mount the walbro inside my KE10 tank and where do i run the return line and will 1/4 line be ok for the return line. Quote
irokin Posted July 8, 2006 Report Posted July 8, 2006 Intank pumps need a bowl to sit in to stop them surging. Its not as easy as just dunking a pump in the fuel (unless you like filling up every 200km). If you need some visual clarification I think Ive still got my old silvia tank up the back somewhere to take a snapshot of the bowl. I'm running a 235lph Bosch 040 and my rubber flex fuel lines are all 6mm ID return and feed. Quote

Ok can someone tell me FFS what they mean when they say ,use a walbro pump,do they mean an external EFI pump from repco or are people using some specific model car pump for there EFI conversions.I went to repco today and all they had was a universal external pump for $400, WTF. Please help me. Yeah pics would be great cheers Edited July 8, 2006 by madrolla68 Quote
ca18rolla Posted July 16, 2006 Report Posted July 16, 2006 (edited) I assume people are talking about, a WALBRO in-take pump. genrally this pumps are used to upgrade your standard intake pump. My car runs a bosch Vl Turbo pump $180. Though i am running out of fuel at 205rwhp so will be upgrading to the big boy 044. They are a inline external pump. Try this link about the cheapest around and quick delivery. Brought a few sets of injectors from them http://injectorsonline.com/indivprod.php?c=7 Edited July 16, 2006 by ca18rolla Quote

ca18rolla Posted July 19, 2006 Report Posted July 19, 2006 I would assume you can use the regulator without a drama. All the rising rate does is (1:1.7) Is for every 1.7 psi of boost the ll rise 1 psi of fuel pressure. So it should be fine, Maybe someone can confirm this. Or send them a email and they ll let you know! As for the pump let them know what hp you ll be running and let them know you want a extrenal pump and they ll tell you what to use. Goodluck! Quote
