driftke70 Posted June 30, 2006 Author Report Posted June 30, 2006 (edited) ive got absolutely everything ready for the conversion, thanks japlish for all those parts you mentioned but i only picked them up this arvo. biggo all systems are go and you are welcome to come over. I think i should be alright but I'm sure ill run into trouble. if you feel like coming, i live near the superbee in buderim. cheers, beally one other quick question - does anyone know if there is an easy way of converting my headlights the the jap/nz twinies, can i buy them on ebay.nz or something and have them shipped over, do they bolt on? can i even get hold of them. Cause I'm going the whole jap look with mirrors on the quater, twin head lights, wantanabees, panda paint. Edited December 13, 2010 by driftke70 Quote
Biggo Posted June 30, 2006 Report Posted June 30, 2006 twin headlights wont bolt on unless you get the entire front including panels and rad supportbar i think. Just make your own ;) cheaper and just as good. Quote
Nitephyre Posted June 30, 2006 Report Posted June 30, 2006 i think converting to twins will be a waste for a drifter... but hey, my opinion Quote
driftke70 Posted July 1, 2006 Author Report Posted July 1, 2006 only thing thats wasted in drift is tyres. Quote
Teddy Posted July 1, 2006 Report Posted July 1, 2006 Biggo, you are incorrect. My project car was an early front end like the car in this thread... To convert to twinheadlight front end, if you have the early front end (like this car) 1x Twinheadlight front end assembly (lights, light brackets, Grill) 1x Twinheadlight front lower apron Chrome bumpers front and rear Chrome bumper brackets & Nuts + relating assembly Slight change of wiring to suit 2 lights (on twinheadlight - outside lights are normal, insides are highbeam) ;) Quote
