5k engine with no oil pressure

Hi replying to banjo 

I was never intending on running solid lifters they were tampered with by the previous owner 

and yes hydraulic lifters will be fine, 8000rpm will be sweet for street driving

Hydraulic lifters are teeing their oil from the main oil gallery so if you change lifters then all your oil pressure is leaking out of that feed line or blocked so search for an oil circuit diagram then make informed decisions.
