The ke30 bonnet i bought had about ten different layers of paint on it so i had to strip it back to metal. :lolcry:

UPDATE

 

Picked up a new crossmember from Raven. The lower conrol arm bolts came lose in mine and flogged out the bolt holes, it was funny i would hit a bump and nearly get thrown off the road.

It cleaned up alright, but I'm still going to paint it.

Found an efi pipe that fits the top of a corolla aisan carb.

Went up to ROL-110(Scott)'s House to pick up some parts today, had a good hills run on the way back, i was keeping up with a 4wd r33, nearly drifted into a guard rail, but i corrected it,

My brother and his mate were shitting themselves telling me to slow down :P

Crossmember is now in.

 

4K has new welch plugs, front and rear main seals and manifold gasket.

 

My gearbox oil was black after 2500 kms, i was using valvaline duragear synthetic 80W-90, I am now temporarily using Castrol VMX because its all we had at trade school :P .

 

I set a personal record today, engine and gearbox sepearted then removed in 1 1/2 hours ;)
