Robert Posted July 10, 2006 Author Report Posted July 10, 2006 The gearbox cleaned up nicely, i reckon i removed about 5kgs of dirt and grease off it. :hmm: http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g209/Rob...1/cleangbox.jpg got a ke30 bumper on the front now :y: just need a back one. http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g209/Rob.../ke30bumper.jpg can any one tell me what speedo cable i need to use with a 4 speed from a ke70 and a ke55 speedo? Quote
Rolla__Boy Posted July 10, 2006 Report Posted July 10, 2006 The auto tail shaft will not fit in the manual gearbox, you need a manual one, you also need a different extension housing to bolt a KE70 manual into a KE55, and once you put a KE55 extension housing on the box, you will have the correct speedo drive in the gearbox to suit your KE55 dash. Car is looking good by the way :hmm: Quote
Robert Posted July 10, 2006 Author Report Posted July 10, 2006 Ive got the gearbox bolted in with a custom crossmember. would i be able to use either: A: KE70 speedo cable or B: KE55 speedo drive Cheers, Rob Quote
