madrolla68 Posted June 13, 2006 Report Posted June 13, 2006 Please help me,will a T-50 gearbox fit in the KE 10 tunnel. Quote
Felix Posted June 14, 2006 Report Posted June 14, 2006 (edited) is it originally an auto or manual car? not sure of the t50's but i know a late ke70 k50 is a tight fit, in a manual tunnel. the t50 would probably need even more massaging. probably doable though as there are a few 4age converted ones getting around. jamesrolla Posted June 14, 2006 Report Posted June 14, 2006 i i know a bloke who has a ke11 and had a ke10 with t50's in them, i think one used the standard tunnel but i don't know if it was an auto or not, my ke55 k50 was a bit of a tight squeez into my manuel ke11 so i don't know Quote

Ok its a Manual car,and the K50 fits obviously but its close ,no mods to get it in but its tight. Just wondering cause i can geta bellhousing to suit, and where do i get the T50 from. Quote
peedman Posted June 14, 2006 Report Posted June 14, 2006 Call up some engine importers as they often have RWD Ae86 gearboxes. Otherwise try classic celica forums as they do pop up every now and again. Quote
Hurricane Posted June 14, 2006 Report Posted June 14, 2006 so or the manual and auto tunnel;s in the rollas different sizes? what about on my ke20 cos it was a manual? will the t50 go in? Quote
rob1 Posted June 24, 2006 Report Posted June 24, 2006 AFAIK a t50 will fit in an auto ke10 but not a manual without trans tunnel massaging Quote
counc Posted June 25, 2006 Report Posted June 25, 2006 I'm currently in the process of sticking a t50 into my ke11. As long as the car is originaly a manual you should have no problems, its only the auto's that there is a problem that requires modification or a new bellhousing. hope it helps Peter Quote
