Tiger Posted May 28, 2006 Report Posted May 28, 2006 Methanol fueled? Or is it battery powered? :( hehehehe Nice!!! Quote
ancullen Posted May 28, 2006 Report Posted May 28, 2006 You had me with the first two shots (as I'm sure you planned). Nice little car. Have fun with it - just don't drink & drive. :( Quote
Xany Posted May 28, 2006 Author Report Posted May 28, 2006 (edited) its electric powered, painted in camelion tamiya spray paint.....i bought it brand new with a ford falcon GT body on it and decided to buy an Ae86 shell at the same time... I have only just got around to painting it this weekend....and it came up a TREAT! so stoked with the way it turned out. :( Btw, Tuesday nights is drift night (it's a drift RC car) out at the brendale RC track.....so if anyone wants to come out and watch me (still learning atm) you are more than welcome :D Edited May 28, 2006 by Xany Quote
Tiger Posted May 28, 2006 Report Posted May 28, 2006 How awesome would that be? One of my mates has a methanol powered beast, and it took on a real Subaru Liberty Heritage... ATE it for breakfast over a 70 metre stretch (on coming roundabout shortly after) I still remember this thing roaring down the road.. soo bloody quick! Quote
JiP Posted May 28, 2006 Report Posted May 28, 2006 :D -Good work with the photos, Though the size of the bitumen was a dead giveaway. Or am I the only one that picked that up?? Anyway, you did a great job!! :( Quote
Jono Posted May 28, 2006 Report Posted May 28, 2006 Got me. I was staring at the two knobs (shell holder thingys) in the third image and was so puzzled i went back to the first two pics without noticing the bricks in the third shot. well done Quote
Xany Posted May 28, 2006 Author Report Posted May 28, 2006 thanks guys......its alot of fun :D even though its not the real thing, it will do me.....the real ones are too expensive to bang up on the track.... :( Quote
