SLW42 Posted September 2, 2010 Report Posted September 2, 2010 this is digging up an old thread now lads but still the fastest car i have owned would have to be my manual ef falcon, it wasn't slow for a stock falcon :hmm: Quote
GJM85 Posted September 2, 2010 Report Posted September 2, 2010 ....it would probably be my 2000 Astra TS Series 1. Strangely fast.... as are its origins. :hmm: But the '04 Camry ACV36R Sportivo goes well for a tank also. Quote
B.L.Z.BUB Posted September 2, 2010 Report Posted September 2, 2010 My rolla does a consistent 29.80 km/s on average, whether its on or not. Quote
altezzaclub Posted September 2, 2010 Report Posted September 2, 2010 I want to know about Cameron's rocketship!!! He hasn't incinerated himself yet.... Quote
19914afc Posted September 2, 2010 Report Posted September 2, 2010 (edited) fastest would probably be a 2s st141 corona or my T18 :hmm: T18 is much more fun to drive and much better condition than the rona as well. Edited September 2, 2010 by 19914afc Quote
corollaart Posted September 2, 2010 Report Posted September 2, 2010 HK munro 307 power glide ,hg sedan 308 3speed ,bug eye wrx ,HK was quick in the eightys and in straight line but like all old school cars handled like shit. HG was much the same ,both had sole. Bugeye quick handles ,but has no sole. KE55coupe clubby, but has more sole than all of them :hmm: rob Quote

Des Posted September 2, 2010 Report Posted September 2, 2010 Quickest car = 3.8 V6 RT142, Automatic with 4.22 LSD diff gear. 0 to 100kph in about 4.5 seconds and a top speed of about 150kph on the limiter. Fastest car = 4AFC Ae82 Seca. Quote
Old fella Posted September 2, 2010 Report Posted September 2, 2010 It would be a toss up between my XT GT falcon, my 67 KE10 and my compact speedcar. The GT had the top end over the ke10 but the corolla was faster to 90 mph. The Compact won an Australian Title at Liverpool speedway in 1983, top speed about 80 mph. Cheers. Quote
Trev Posted September 2, 2010 Report Posted September 2, 2010 It is now my FZR and Roger's Cordia. Quote
RO-81-LA Posted September 2, 2010 Report Posted September 2, 2010 (edited) my fastest car was a 1991 lancer gsr hatch with a 2.0l turbo vr4 galant motor. bigger cooler, bigger turbo, mtx computer. would FWD wheel spin even in 4th gear once hit boost. not sure how quick it was but smoked a vz ss with cams done, extractors, exhaust & chip. left it for dead. sold it due to driving a red hot turbo'd car on your red p's is not a good idea. stuck with the ke55's awesome grunt from factory :hmm: rolla gets way more looks so its a win/lose situation. camerondownunder88 Posted September 2, 2010 Report Posted September 2, 2010 I want to know about Cameron's rocketship!!! He hasn't incinerated himself yet.... Hi, Still alive :hmm: not much changed with kart but it is now chrome, cadnium, gold, anodized etc everywhere hated look of paint and hey paint can't handel the heat. But that one is slow now....new one in the stable being built..should be about 160HP this time minimum thinking a Jr dragster for the next one want to get a 1/4 mile time..LOL Cameron P.S. Fastest car I own KE15. not sure of top speed speedo stops at 105mph. 0-60mph never times should do that one day. Quote
GJM85 Posted September 2, 2010 Report Posted September 2, 2010 GJM85, daggers57, wagn, Evan G, SLW42, AE70, 19914afc, blktoy35.... all at once. People are loving this thread. Quote
daggers57 Posted September 2, 2010 Report Posted September 2, 2010 Fastest car I ever owned was a 1985 Nissan Bluebird TRX series III with the shit heap CA20 8 sparkplug engine. Ported and polished head, bigger valves, custom intake with a 180 cfm Holley carby and no pollution gear crap. Went like shit off a shovel and hit nearly 180kph on a "private road". Quote
altezzaclub Posted September 2, 2010 Report Posted September 2, 2010 I suppose the Altezza is the quickest up top, it hauls 180kph in 3rd, never mind 6th, but I had a turbo manual Cifero in the 90s that had a really good midrange. Most exciting would be a range of super-lightweight Datsun 1600 rally cars with 140bhp under them! Quote
