AE93 air con

Hey rolla gurus

So the summer is on its way and to the Princess's disgust I have yet to locate an Ac system for her 55 hardtop. So the next best thing is to add another rolla to her stable. She likes the AE93 as her older brother had one as his first car a few years ago. He sold it to buy a wrx. I could of kicked his arse and he is now regretting it. So the  as rare as they are getting now it is even harder to get one with Ac. So the big question is can an Ac system from an AE92 be easily fitted into an AE93 or do I have to source one from an SX or a GTI?

setup will be the same bar the pulley on the compressor - easy to find a 4age type compressor though

That is good news it increases my probability of getting an AC system and appease the Princess.

Just be aware, the A/C compressor and bracket are different between 4AFE and 4AGE. You can't bolt a 4age a/c compressor to the bracket off a 4AFE, the bolt spacing is different. There are slight differences in the hard lines to/from the compressor between the two as well.

So what you are saying is that it's not a straight forward swap. So realistically I should be trying to locate a GTI or SX unit to make life easier.
