MrMasternes Posted June 7, 2017 Report Posted June 7, 2017 (edited) Hello. I just noticed today that my KE30 is showing an unusually high speed on the speedo. Infact it's about double of what the GPS on my phone shows. Anyone come across this issue? The reduction for the cable must have skipped a gear, if it's possible at all? It still counts how far the car has driven. Anyone got any ideas? :D Edited June 7, 2017 by MrMasternes Quote
Banjo Posted June 8, 2017 Report Posted June 8, 2017 (edited) Hi Marius, If your speedo "odometer" is still showing the correct number of kilometers the car has travelled, but the speedo itself is showing an increased speed, then the issue is within the speedo itself. Usually not something you can do to resolve this, although very close inspection of the fine spring & magnet that allow the needle to turn, may disclose/indicate something. Best see if you can find another speedo. Cheers Banjo Edited June 8, 2017 by Banjo Quote

The speed was showing the double amount and the odometer was counting km twice as fast, wierd issues.... Quote

ke70dave Posted June 19, 2017 Report Posted June 19, 2017 Being in the northern hemisphere i thought you were going to say the Speedo and odometer was running backwards. Quote
Banjo Posted June 19, 2017 Report Posted June 19, 2017 No Dave, a comment like that would be "over the top". Quote
