Apparently SC14's go well on a 4K. They are the superchargers off 4AGZE'.

You will need a carby to suit forced induction, alot of fab work to do regarding the piping, and depending on whether you go blow-thru or draw-thru, a modified manifold... all this is only the start... And it could be suggested an intercooler....

There is more work to supercharging your little 4K then bolting on a supercharger...

Also, place a seperate wanted ad in the for sale section in the future mate... a location and more detailed description of what you're after would help too...

But most importantly, Welcome to Rollaclub :lmao:

SC14's are off the 1GGZE toyota motors.

SC12's are off the 4AGZE's.....

The SC14 is a little bigger and produces alot more air than the SC12 can push.

Rolla_boy on here has had a SC14 on many stock 4K engines, apparently they don't last much longer than a year. I would do some homework first and search the site a bit, there is some info on here about supercharging.

welcome to the club.

cheers.

Whoop, got it confused.. my bad :lmao: Thanks Xany

SC14 is out of a 1GGZE, not a 4AGZE.

But like Xany said, if you search the site a little bit, no doubt you will know whats happening :)

Have a good one,

Dan.

Z is toyotas naming code for supercharged. e.g. 1G-GZE. I doubt youd be able to meet californian emission standards....so it'd Just be a 4K-Z if you wanted to name it by toyotas naming conventions.

depends on the car, if you have a polution canister (round black cyl under bonnet) don't disconect it, if you don't have one at all, don't worry bout it, bingo! emission standards met, a SC 4k is classed as 2.2-2.4 ltr motor for racing (feel free to corect me on this anyone) so the biggest hassle you may have is getting it over rego over powered and under braked
