WytoX Posted July 20, 2016 Report Posted July 20, 2016 (edited) Hello guys, I have bought an 1979 Corolla KE30, it's not in the best condition but I'm going to fix it. I want to buy new rims/wheels for it but I don't know what sizes that will fit without doing any modifications. Currently I know that the "Original" size are: 155/80 R13 5x13 4x114.30 ET27. This size is on the car now. Could you guys please help me out? :D Edited July 22, 2016 by WytoX Quote
oh what a nissan feeling! Posted July 22, 2016 Report Posted July 22, 2016 My ke30 has 15x7 +13 offset front and rear. 195/50/15 tyres. They fit easily and are inside the guards. If you want a more aggressive look then you will want a more negetive offset with a stretched tyre. Quote

The wheels isn't expensive, the shipping is :P Quote
B.L.Z.BUB Posted July 22, 2016 Report Posted July 22, 2016 Buy the wheels direct from Rota if you're going new. Flat rate shipping aussie wide, about $90 from memory. Quote

I live in Norway so the shipping is going to cost a bit anyway. I got in touch with a store here in Norway, and they deliver some Rota wheels. they said that the Rota RB don't come in 114.3. They offered me some Rota RKR 15x8 4x114.3 ET0, I don't know if they'll fit. But since ET is 0 they should fit. Quote
Taz_Rx Posted July 23, 2016 Report Posted July 23, 2016 We (aus) can get RB in 4x114..... https://www.rotawheels.com.au/wheels/rota-rb Quote
Taz_Rx Posted July 23, 2016 Report Posted July 23, 2016 Bare in mind that going from +12 to 0 will give you obviously 12mm more poke, then going to an 8 will stick it out another half inch. Quote
WytoX Posted July 23, 2016 Author Report Posted July 23, 2016 Found some Varrstoen V2 15x8 4x114,3 ET15 used, problem is that I don't know if these will fit. He have been using them on an Nissan Laurel I think. Quote
oh what a nissan feeling! Posted July 24, 2016 Report Posted July 24, 2016 They will fit fine on the rear. On the front I think they will touch the strut by a couple of millimeters. The 15x8 et0 will fit for the rear as well just pretty flush. But on the front they will stick out a fair bit. Quote
