Nice work.

 

I am currently rebuilding mine for track use, using a ported 3k head. Has been ported to approx 33mm inlets

 

How much compression are you looking at running?

Have a read of Thomas thread ! I ported the head for him , to get the most out of your port job make sure you put bigger valves in and cam to suit as well as carburation / exhaust and the list goes on ???? . Thomas head has double valve springs at around 105 pound on the seat which once warmed up should be around 95/100 on the seat , compression ratio is just under 12-1

sorry late to this little chat..... I've done a little "K" engine port work..... very early on.

 

 

 

anyone test their work on a flowbench?? unfortunately my bench was not available when I did my K porting....

The inlet ports on my head are 35mm

This head is goin on a 5k with flat tops

It will have 10.2.1 comp

 

Is the 35mm inlet diameter at the entrance or all the way through?
