Will A 7K Air Cleaners Mate With A 4K?

Hello all and thank you for having me!

 

My general query which someone may be able to answer is if an air cleaner assembly from the 7k engine will meet up and bolt to the carburettor of a 4K engine?

 

I was advised by a local wrecker that it may, but I would be better to ask someone who would know. I was unable to find much information on the web, so hopefully we can help other people find this out too!

 

I am hesitant to utilise an aftermarket assembly as can be found on eBay as I would love to retain the original aesthetic for the moment.

Can't answer your question sorry but I do have a 3k air cleaner housing spare that I can measure up.

It's your's if you're interested at $20 plus postage.
