Stankman Posted May 10, 2016 Report Posted May 10, 2016 Hi, I've got a 1981 KE38 Corolla that I recently put 2 inch lowering blocks in. Along with the lowering blocks I put on a set of 15x8 0 offset Rota grids. Once putting the wheels on the tyres only scrubbed on the passenger rear lip, I later realised that my diff was 5 - 10mm to the passenger side! My question is has anyone else had a problem with the diff moving sideways when lowering and how to fix it? and what is peoples experience with 15x8 0 offset wheels with 195/50 tyres on them? I know I will obviously have to roll the guards, but is there anything else I will need to do the guards and also How is the ride and is there still any scrubbing once all the work is done to make the wheels fit? Again I'm a newbie to Corollas so any help would be much appreciated! Thanks in advance Quote
oh what a nissan feeling! Posted May 10, 2016 Report Posted May 10, 2016 Your diff has not moved because of lowering. Your leaf bushes could be stuffed so check them out. If its not that, old card were built with a low accuracy so it would not be unusual to have that amount of variation in a chassis. Quote
tojo2 Posted May 28, 2016 Report Posted May 28, 2016 Does your lowering Blocks have correct size locating pins? Quote
