Car Won't Start

sometimes the actual points plastic rubbing bit that rubs around the shaft as the shaft turns, wears out and u start conducting electricity through that!!

That's happened to me before in a really shit ford econovan.

I had that felt pad snap off entirely once! Was a bit hard for the motor to run when the points wouldn't open at all lol
