Ke20 Surge Tank Setup

Hi, I'm in the middle of converting my KE20 to a 4A-GE, i'v never done a carb t EFI swap before so i'v never set up a surge tank, got hold of a tank and pumps, now i just need to put it together..

 

will this work?

 

and i'v noticed my ke20's got 2 fuel lines,one goes to the engine, and one goes into t heleft framerail where the engine crossmember bolts to the chassi, what does that do?

Your technical drawing would work but i would put the original return from the engine bay into the main tank so the hot fuel can have a chance to cool down.

 

Not sure about ke20's but some cars have the vent from the charcoal canister plumbed into the rail.
