Ke70 1982 Indicators Are Hazard Lights Wut?

Hey,

 

I've just picked up my 2nd ke70 and this one is unregistered but doesn't need much.

 

My indicators when I turn them left or right it puts on hazard lights is this a wiring issue or be a globe issue. They do flash the lights so I'm guessing a wiring issue (ground/fuse/connection issue)

 

any help would be awesome ill share some photos soon its flat front too. c:

Sounds like wiring, so just start at the bulbs and test each wire, then work your way back to the indicator switch, which is where I reckon the problem will be.
