reynolwi Posted May 19, 2015 Report Posted May 19, 2015 (edited) Hey guys firstly hello to all! First post! .. anyway i urgently need help... i have a 93 ae92 twincam corolla. And i was washing some oil of the engine, trying to be carefull and stay away from the alternator dizy etc... anyway after that i went for a drive and the battery light came on. so i pulled the cables off and blew water out of the plugs etc.. while doing so i accidenly shorted the tab (the one that goes inside to the rectifier i assume) that the large rectangular diode on the back of the alternator connects to and now it wont start! The battery has plent of juice but i just wont kick over! What have i blown? Please help guys i need my car! I have a pic but not sure how to post it! Edited May 19, 2015 by reynolwi Quote

Anyway it way the regulator.. took it out sanded up all its terminals and plugs and she chargers beautifully now =) Quote
