Hi,

Just wanted to show you my KE10, it's in Malta (EU) and is a 4-door version. I own the car for 3 years now and currently respraying it. When I bought the KE10 it was in reasonable condition but sprayed 3-4 times over the original paint, causing some strange effects over the years. I am the second owner of the car.

post-4937-0-55440200-1429782903_thumb.jpgHi

Saw your post with your 4 door KE10. Looks great. We have a similiar car which we use as a daily driver. We also have a 69 sprinter , 68 station wagon and a 69 KE10 coupe which we bought new in '69 for my mother. We show these cars regularly and are always popular with the crowds. KE10 4 doors were never imported to Australia and are difficult to purchase. There are only 3 or 4 known in Australia. Keep up the good work and look forward to seeing the car finished. You were asking about rubbers for the car. There is a man in Brisbane (Phil's Rotary) He also trades under the name of New Old Stock car parts. If you have any problems get back to me,

Cheers

Here's some more photo's of my progress....

- In search of shock absorbers that will fit in the factory setup... like to buy them locally in Malta if possible...

Nice! Rear shocks you can find a lot of places KYB Excel 343140 is most common where I am...the fronts...man....good luck. If all the original guts are in there you MIGHT be able to rebuild them but inserts that really fit are no longer made that I can find.
