nerfbat Posted May 25, 2015 Author Report Posted May 25, 2015 (edited) Dropping the seat off tomorrow to get it customized. thinking of something like this Thoughts? Edited June 18, 2016 by nerfbat Quote
nerfbat Posted May 26, 2015 Author Report Posted May 26, 2015 thanks mate. Just got back from dropping it off for the custom work. Getting a charcoal 'leather look' vinyl for the main area of the seat. And a darker black Ostrich leather for the bum pad area. Will have some grey or red stitching and piping(will decide exactly, when I go back friday to test the foam fabrication) this will be my seat for the next week Quote
nerfbat Posted May 28, 2015 Author Report Posted May 28, 2015 Taking shape. needs more trimming Quote
B.L.Z.BUB Posted May 28, 2015 Report Posted May 28, 2015 I reckon it needs a tank in the same kind of shape but with some sharp edges to match the rear. Or maybe some gloss pinstripes? Quote
kickn5k Posted May 28, 2015 Report Posted May 28, 2015 Needs a 48 sized front wheel, that seat and your gold!!!!!! Quote

I am quite partial to the tank mate. but I do like your idea of the pin stripes..! Needs a 48 sized front wheel, that seat and your gold!!!!!! agreed mate I so want to look into spokes..! Quote
nerfbat Posted May 29, 2015 Author Report Posted May 29, 2015 oh and the seat turned up. very very happy with how it turned out..! Ostrich Leather look on the bum area, and leather look wrap. The guys at Evan's Trip Shop did an amazing job. http://www.evanstrimshop.com.au/ Quote
kickn5k Posted May 29, 2015 Report Posted May 29, 2015 Quality job, by the looks of the photos. Would the forks take a wheel that wide? Quote
nerfbat Posted May 29, 2015 Author Report Posted May 29, 2015 Its possible mate, changing the triple trees to suit. I like Free Spirit's work. they would make a custom set to suit whatever width i want, and they also do Brembo brake adaptors, among other great things, which would be cool, but costly for me, at the moment http://www.freespirits.it/en/products-hd/triple-trees-hd.html being a new platform, its still early days with the mods and aftermarket gear, which sucks, but there are some promising things in the works that i am following closely, forward controls, a guy who is doing chain/sprocket conversions, and most interestingly for me, Spoke wheels that are larger, i think 18" front and 16" rear? I'd really prefer same fat size front and rear like the 48's tho Some really cool customs coming out during this Battle of the Kings http://www.bikeexif.com/harley-street-750 http://www.cycleworld.com/2015/05/20/harley-davidson-battle-of-the-kings-custom-street-750-motorcycles/ Quote
nerfbat Posted May 29, 2015 Author Report Posted May 29, 2015 (edited) so, for now, all I want to do, that isnt super costly, is remove the whole tail light section, fit a cafe tail light and indicators(front and rear) that suit. Edited May 29, 2015 by nerfbat Quote

I know what your saying, I just want to put more than the 8km I have only done on the rgv. Haha The french one is more my style. With HD's if it aint black denim it needs a flake job as crazy as an 80's speed boat!! http://kustomkommune.com.au/news these melb based guys are doing some cool stuff.
